The Smoker's Gaming Set Up Guide

The Smoker's Gaming Set Up Guide

Grinding flower while grinding ranked is one of the great American pastimes. Whether you’re chilling out with a cozy game or hopping on Fortnite with the squad, a gaming and smoke session is an undefeated combo. But if you’re wondering how to take it to the next level, this guide is sure to help you.

Here’s how to set up your space for the optimal experience.

Start With Comfort

You have to make sure your chair is built for gaming, and I don’t mean chairs with speakers or rumble features (although that would be sick). I mean chairs that are going to be comfortable for sitting in for hours, and will give you support without you even realizing it. This is what you’re spending most of your time on, so you have to make sure you’re comfortable.

You might think getting a gaming chair would be a short-cut to long-term comfort, but that’s not always the case. If possible, you should always check out chairs in person to see how they feel, not everyone likes a Herman Miller. Make sure to go for an ergonomic chair with lumbar support, or even neck/head support as well.

You can also look into finding lights to set the mood and reduce glare, as well as a small table or nightstand for easy access.

To recap:

  • Ergonomic chair with back and neck support

  • LED lighting for a relaxed mood

  • A small side table or rolling tray within reach for your gear

Choose Your Piece: Desk-Ready & Low-Maintenance

Whether you're using your PC or console for gaming, you want something easy and compact so that you can hit it in between games, or if you need to hop back on you can rely on it being safe.

Portability and stability are imperative, and if you want discretion you can look at some of these products here:

  • Thicket Lite – compact, discreet, and leak-proof

  • Thicket V2 – upgraded with a carb button and built-in bowl compartment

We also have the perfect torches for the gaming vibe, such as our Ray Gun. You can use one in Call of Duty and in real life, and paired with our handstand, you can set up a real futuristic and sleek vibe for your gaming setup.

Must-Have Accessories

Keeping with the theme of portability, here are some things to make sure you have everything in one place to make your life easier and cleaner.

  • Ashtray with lid – keeps ash from spilling

  • Rolling tray with compartments to keep things tidy

  • Odor-neutralizing spray or candles

  • Pre-roll tubes or stash jars – for quick access between matches

The Munchie Zone

You have to take into account that when smoking, you’re gonna get cravings. It’s as inevitable as getting stuck in bronze. You just have to deal with it.

  • You can ball out with a mini-fridge with drinks and snacks (like the Xbox mini-fridge)

  • Easy-to-grab options like chips, gummies, or fruit

  • Hydration station: water bottles, electrolyte drinks

Keep It Clean

Gamers get a bad rap for not taking care of themselves, and I for one am tired of it. Let’s fight those stereotypes. Please. Do it for me. It’s rough out here.

Make sure you have things around in case accidents happen as well as helping keep your station clean:

  • Microfiber cloths for your screen and desk

  • Wipes for your hands and rig

  • Dedicated storage for lighters, tools, and flower

Something like the Flashback has modular compartments built in to help with storage.
